Ingredients

  • 300ml water
  • ½ cup of dried hibiscus flowers or 3 hibiscus tea bags
  • 100g fresh strawberries
  • ¼ cup lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • Ice cubes
  • Some peppermint leaves

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the tea base

Pour the water into a pot and bring it to a boil. 

When the water boils, turn off the heat, add the tea bags or dried hibiscus petals, and let it brew for 10-15 minutes. 

Then, remove the tea bags or flowers to get the tea liquor. 

Step 2: Prepare the strawberries

Wash the strawberries carefully and cut off the stems. 

For half of the strawberries, slice into small pieces. 

For the remaining half, pour into a glass and smash with a pestle. 

Step 3: Assemble the drink

Add 150 ml of hibiscus tea, 10 ml of honey, and lemon juice to the glass of mashed strawberries. 

Use a spoon to stir the mixture well, and add some ice cubes. You can adjust the amount of honey and lemon juice to suit your taste. 

Add some fresh sliced strawberries on top of the glass. You can use some peppermint leaves to decorate.
